Hi! My name is Margarita and I’m an elopement and intimate wedding photographer in Chicago, IL. For me, photography is about remembering how a moment felt. Whether it’s a wedding day, a family afternoon, or just a small piece of everyday life — I always try to keep it real, warm, and meaningful.

My journey as a photographer

My photography journey began with a simple love for capturing beautiful moments on my phone — soft light, everyday magic, fleeting details. I didn’t know where it would take me, I just knew it made me feel something.

Over time, that curiosity turned into a deeper passion. I bought my first camera, started learning everything I could, and slowly began to understand what truly inspires me. I explored different styles, played with light and emotion, and started to shape a visual language that felt like mine.

I realized how much I love photographing meaningful moments — like weddings and elopements — after capturing my very first wedding. Seeing the raw emotions of the couple, their family, and friends made something click inside me. I knew I wanted to keep sharing these unforgettable days with people, creating photographs that would bring them joy for many, many years to come.
